The Office of Civil Defense and the Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur signed a Memorandum of Agreement to strengthen the provincial government’s response operations during emergencies and disasters. In fulfillment of the terms of the agreement, OCD provided one unit rigid hull inflatable boat with outboard motor and trailer, as well as two units of 8.5 KVA portable generator sets.

Governor Jerry Singson thanked OCD RO1 Regional Director Gregory Cayetano for the collaboration in response to disaster needs, noting the importance of the equipment for the safety of the people during calamities.

Witnessing the signing and turnover were Sangguniang Panlalawigan Members Ericson Singson, Ronnie Rapanut, Christopher Baterina, Gina Cordero, Ben Maggay, and Art Oandasan, Provincial Treasurer Ronnette Victa, Provincial General Services Officer Mario Ruelos and PDRRM Officer Rhon Arquelada.
