The province of Ilocos Sur was recognized 1st Runner Up Most Disability Inclusive Province by the Department of Social Welfare and Development RO1 this 22-23 August 2024 during the Regional Culminating Activity of the 46th National Disability Rights Week Celebration.

Congratulations to the Provincial Persons with Disability Affairs Office led by Ms. Gioia Torres for achieving this recognition considering it is merely a year of official function.

This amplified the spirit of inclusivity that is deeply-seated as one of the priority goals of the provincial government for everyONE.
