Fresh from their hard-earned wins in the various sporting events, the Ilocos Sur Swim Team, Ilocos United Football Club, Tagudin Archery Club, and the Ilocos Sur athletes who represented Region 1 in the Palarong Pambansa 2024, presented their trophies and medals to Governor Jerry Singson this 6 August 2024.

The Governor warmly expressed his gratitude to the athletes, their parents, and the coaching staff for bringing a new set of accolades to the province. “Your triumphs are not only your personal victories but also the victories of our entire province.”

Governor Jerry Singson reminded the young athletes to continue their training on and off-season to further their skills and abilities.

Governor Jerry was joined by Sangguniang Panlalawigan Member Third Ranches, Philippine Sports Commission Sports Consultant Edwin Llanes, and PGIS Sports Coordinator Jonathan Pugrad.
