The Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Management Office was recognized by DENR RO1 for their substantial contribution in working with the agency for the implementation of the different projects and programs that led to the efficient development, management, conservation and protection of the environment and natural resources in the region.

PENRM Officer Edgar Yabes received the award this 15 July 2024 at the Hotel Ariana and Restaurant, Bauang, La Union during the Culmination Program of the 2024 Philippine Environment Month Celebration.
