Seventy-two outstanding individuals from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao comprise the Team Philippines representing the country in the upcoming World Championship of Performing Arts (WCOPA) in Long Beach, California gathered for the Blue Jacket ceremony at Okada Manila on 24 June 2024.

The handpicked Filipino talents of the country including Ilocos Sur representatives Algene Torres and Agatha Alsong, aspire to bring back glory as they compete in various fields of the Talent Olympics such as singing, dancing, and instrumental performances.

Senator Cynthia A. Villar, Governor Jerry Singson, WCOPA National Director Gerry Mercado, the director’s wife Mrs. Angie Mercado, and officials from OKADA Manila were among the attendees of the event.
