Dengue Awareness Month is celebrated this month of June and the Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur renewed its commitment to combating dengue. Through education, prevention, and community action, the Provincial Health Office conducted a motorcade, presented program updates, and educated the attendees on the impact of this disease, and acts for prevention toward creating healthier and safer communities.

In his message, Governor Jerry Singson emphasized the role of environmental cleanliness in the combat against dengue.

The Governor also led the distribution of PPEs and commodities to the health officers for the prevention and management of dengue and other mosquito-borne diseases in the locality.
