Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Undersecretary for Civilian Security and Consular Affairs Jesus Domingo led the Inauguration of the Department of Foreign Affairs Provincial Satellite Branch at the Candon Arena this 15 June 2024.

The satellite branch will cater to the increasing demand for passport appointment slots in the Ilocos Region; an initiative that is part of the DFA’s continuing efforts to make passport services easier and more accessible to the public.

Governor Jerry Singson, Candon City Mayor Eric Singson, Sangguniang Panlalawigan Members Ericson Singson, Gina Cordero, Ben Maggay, Leopoldo Gironella, Elpidio Quines, PSA Usec. Claire Dennis Mapa and CSC RO1 Director Hedy Jose Lardizabal took part in the Inauguration.
