In a memorable event, Governor Jerry Singson together with the members of Sangguniang Panlalawigan, Department Heads, PGIS Employees, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community illuminated the Provincial Capitol and Provincial Farmers Livelihood Development Center in a simultaneous ceremonial PRIDE Lighting symbolizing the kickoff of the month-long celebration of PRIDE Month in the province.

“This asserts our stand to support the LGBTQIA+, the diverse SOGIE Community and the anti-discrimination efforts on the basis of sex and gender. More than our light display are our accomplished policies and programs to support the interest of this sector. Our administration pledges its commitment to promote your welfare and protect your rights.” A part of the Governor’s speech advocating a safe space fostering a community of love, understanding, and respect.
