The Department of Health (DOH) Regional Office 1 distributed various health equipment to the Ilocos Sur Provincial Hospital – Gabriela Silang and the seven district hospitals of the province.

Under the Health Facilities Enhancement Program equipment being distributed included fluorescence immunoassay analyzers, cardiac monitors, defibrillators with paddles, wheeled stretchers, pediatric bed, autoclave sol, micro hematocrit centrifuge, chemistry analyzer, laryngoscope, minor instrument set, major instrument set among others.

Governor Jerry Singson, Sangguniang Panlalawigan Member Efren Rafanan, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Trina Talaga, DOH Provincial Director Eng. John Foz and the Chiefs of Hospitals of Ilocos Sur attended the blessing and turn-over ceremony.
