Three former rebels received livelihood and financial assistance under the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program administered by the Department of Interior and Local Government.

Present during the ECLIP awarding were Governor Jerry Singson, DILG RO1 Regional Director Jonathan Leusen Jr., ARD Paulino Lalata Jr., Provincial Director Randy Dela Rosa, LGMED Chief Rodora Soriano, Asst. LGMED Chief Leslie Isip, and SPM Ben Maggay.

The ECLIP is a complete package program for individuals who have decided to abandon armed struggle and return to the fold of the law and join the mainstream of the Philippine society. It is a peace building and social protection program that provides interventions to Former New People’s Army Rebels and Militia ng Bayan in becoming productive citizens of society.
