To support the Overseas Filipino Workers, a Memorandum of Agreement Signing Convergence among the DMW, OWWA, DOLE, TESDA and the Province of Ilocos Sur and its Municipalities was conducted to further strengthen the partnership with the reintegration of programs and services.

The different agencies will work together to implement programs for OFWs that could enhance their skills, knowledge, competence and facilitate their safe and productive reintegration into their communities.

The Governor is looking forward to provide more reliable programs that will address the challenges faced by migrant workers.

Governor Jerry Singson and DMW Assistant Secretary Levinson C. Alcantara led the signing together with Vice Governor Ryan Singson represented by his Executive Assistant Cara Michelle Tabios, DMW OIC Regional Director Romeo Jaramilla, TESDA Provincial Director Larry Dizon and DOLE Ilocos Sur OIC Head Charity Ubilas.
