Gold Medalist and Perfect Scorer in Algebra during the recently concluded Thailand International Mathematical Olympiad-Final Round Ian Chris Semillano of Tagudin Ilocos Sur paid courtesy visit to Governor Jerry Singson.

The competition is designed to honor the best learners in the world in Mathematical Problem Solving through a friendly competition and foster cultural exchange among countries that participate therein.

The Governor handed over cash incentive to Ian for his achievement and to motivate him more to continually excel in mathematics as well as inspire other students to be like him.
