As part of the celebration of Labor Day Festival this 1 May in Ilocos Sur, the Department of Labor and Employment entered into a Memorandum of Agreement with the University of Northern Philippines for the Institutionalization of a Job Placement Office. Present during the signing were Governor Jerry Singson, DOLE RO1 ARD Honorina Baga, OIC Provincial Director Ilocos Sur Field Office Charity Ubilas, UNP President Dr. Erwin Cadorna and UNP Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Rolando Navarro.
