Governor Jerry Singson and PSC Commissioner Matthew Gaston graced the conduct of the Indigenous People’s Games 2024 Opening Program held at Salcedo, Ilocos Sur. The conduct of the games aimed to preserve, promote, and propagate the rich cultural heritage of Ilocos Sur.

Along with the Governor and the Commissioner were Sangguniang Panlalawigan Members Ben Maggay, Leopoldo Gironella Jr., Gregorio Del Pilar Mayor Henry Gallardo, and Salcedo Mayor Niña Grazielle Itchon.
