The Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur through the Ilocos Sur Provincial Tourism and Development Office led by Provincial Tourism Officer John Noel Andaya warmly welcomed around 800 passengers and crew of the luxury MS Insignia under Oceania Cruises that docked at the Salomague Port Cabugao, Ilocos Sur this 18 March 2024. Passengers were from the United States, Europe and Asia.

The Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur also provided cultural performers to entertain the visitors and prepared fun activities during their five-hour walking tour around Vigan and Bantay.
