Initiated by the Provincial Library as part of the province’s Women’s Month celebration and 65th Public Library Day, 20 women senior citizens from Brgy. Cabalangegan, Vigan City became the recipients of the Public Library Day: Digital Literacy Program where training and seminar on basic computer and mobile phone literacy was taught.
Governor Jerry Singson represented by Provincial Administrator Marlon F. Tagorda reiterated the commitment of provincial government to promote inclusivity and women empowerment as they are the backbone of every family and the community. He also emphasized that this training will not only enhance the technological proficiency of women senior citizens but will also open new avenues for communication and engagement with the evolving society around us.
