The Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur acknowledged remarkable individuals in the Pammadayaw 2024. Top Ten Outstanding Police, Special Awards, and the Fr. Jose Burgos Award were conferred to the deserving awardees in this event.

One of the awardees of the Fr. Jose Burgos Award was former Governor Luis “Chavit” Singson for his significant contribution to the growth and development of the Province. The LMP Emeritus President thanked the Provincial Government for vesting him the highest award. “Ako po ay nagpapasamalat sa pagbigay ng pammadayaw para sa akin at rest assured this will encourage me more to do more for our province.”

Other awardees were Zenaida Pulido, Godofredo Borje, Jan Rei Raganit, Dr. Gilbert Arce, and WAF Team Philippines.

The awardees were recognized for their incomparable contributions in upholding the culture and tradition of the province, as well as demonstrating excellence in their fields of endeavor and bringing honor to the heritage province.
