Senator Mark Villar is hopeful that the Ilocos Sur Festival Tawid and Kultura Trade Fair will inspire more Filipinos to buy locally-made, world-class products as he commended the different products of Ilocos Sur during the opening of the fair.
This 29 January 2024, the Senator together with Governor Jerrry Singson and DTI Regional Director Grace Baluyan led the ribbon-cutting of more than 300 booths selling One Town, One Product (OTOP) food products, crafts, fashion, and homestyle items made by Ilocos Sur micro, small and medium entrepreneurs (MSMEs) including twenty six provinces as far as Albay and Bataan.
