Governor Jerry Singson through SPM Efren Rafanan received the GAWAD PARANGAL AWARD for the province of Ilocos Sur during the 5th Anniversary of the NTF-ELCAC held at Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City.

The recognition was awarded on the exemplary performance and invaluable contribution to the promotion of long-lasting peace, unity and sustainable development on formerly conflict-affected areas in the Philippines.

Ilocos Sur is the only LGU awardee of Region 1 and one of the five provinces of the country.
