“A nation is respected by its moral value and leadership in the world.” – President Elpidio Quirino

The Province of Ilocos Sur honored the exemplary life of former President Elpidio Quirino on his 133rd Birth Anniversary this 16 November 2023.

The commemoration commenced with a wreath-laying ceremony at the Quirino monument, followed by a mass offered in his memory, and a program remembering the great contributions of the late President Quirino.

Governor Jerry Singson, Sangguniang Panlalawigan Members, Miss Cory Quirino, Mr. Eddie Quirino, and Provincial Administrator Marlon Tagorda graced the event.

National Government Agencies, PGIS employees, and other organizations also joined the celebration.
