Aiming to be proactive in disaster response, the Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur conducted an Incident Command System Executive Course.

This course fully capacitates the governor, city/municipal mayors, vice mayors, DRRMOs and school heads for effective and efficient Incident Management during disasters, incidents, and planned events.

Governor Jerry Singson believed that putting premium to disaster preparedness is one of the best ways to cushion the impact of natural or man-made calamity.
