The Ilocos Sur Provincial Tourism Development and Promotion Office won two awards in the most prestigious national awards for tourism, the ATOP-DOT Pearl Awards 2023.

Awards conferred were:

Grand Winner, Best in Tourism Week/Month Celebration (One Ilocos Sur Tourism Celebration)

2nd Runner-Up, Best in Tourism Gifts /Souvenir (Ilocos Sur Food Products)

Awards were received by Provincial Tourism Officer John Noel M. Andaya along with Ms. Laiza Mae Fernando and Tim Peruna in Malay, Aklan.
