The Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development Regional Office 1 in coordination with the Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur distributed financial assistance to 225 eligible individuals whose homes were totally damaged due to the onslaught of super typhoon Egay.

The program beneficiaries has undergone thorough validation enabling them to received P10,000 worth of shelter subsidy.

Governor Jerry Singson along with DHSUD Regional Director Atty. Richard Ziga, Provincial Administrator Marlon Tagorda, and PSWD OIC Rodrigo Llameg led the distribution.
