Senator Imee Marcos personally distributed P5,000 worth of Educational Assistance to the 1,228 children of farmers and fishermen of the 1st District of Ilocos Sur including the municipality of Santa who were affected by super typhoon Egay.

Sen. Imee Marcos said this initiative aims to help students and families recover after the wrath of Egay.

Governor Jerry Singson, Vice Gov. Ryan Singson, Sangguniang Panlalawigan Members Ericson Singson, Efren Rafanan, Ronnie Rapanut, Gina Cordero, Mildred Elaydo, Art Oandasan, Third Ranches, Bantay Mayor Sammy Parilla assisted Sen. Marcos in handing the assistance to the beneficiaries with the cooperation of DSWD Region 1 and PSWDO headed by OIC Rodrigo Llameg.
