“The province of Ilocos Sur is honored to be the host of Dagyaw for our region”, part of the message of Governor Jerry Singson during the Dagyaw Government Town Hall Meetings led by the Department of Interior and Local Government RO1, Department of Budget and Management RO1, Philippine Information Agency RO1, and the Department of Agriculture RO1.

Nearly 1,000 participants from regional and national government agencies and local government units, along with members of civil society organizations in agriculture sector, farmers, fisherfolks, related unions, agri-business sector, agri-food traders, consumers and consumer groups, and related-field researchers from Ilocos Sur. Other participants joining remotely via video conference.

The event kicked off with the ribbon cutting of the Kadiwa ng Pangulo led by Governor Jerry Singson together with the regional/provincial directors of the different national government agencies and other local officials.
