Umali kayo maki dangdanggay kendakami!

The town of San Emilio Ilocos Sur kicks off its 2023 Tapey Festival thru a Grand Foot, Float, and Balliwes parade followed by an Opening Program wherein the Unveiling of Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo Monument and wreath laying, release of 300 balloons were held.

The highlight of the celebration centered on the Signing of Sisterhood Agreement between the Kawit, Cavite LGU headed by Mayor Angelo Emilio Aguinaldo, grandson of the late Emilio Aguinaldo and San Emilio Mayor Joey Warren Bragado.

Afterwhich, the Bestowal of Ethnic Costume to the delegates, the IPs performed the balliwes dance as part of the town’s tradition.

Governor Jerry Singson, represented by Atty. Jannah Singson along with NCIP-Ilocos Sur Provincial Officer Atty. Marvin Biligan, Schools Superintendent Division of Ilocos Sur, Dr. Joel B. Lopez also took part to the said event.
