“Ipannakkel tayo dagiti bukod tayo a banuar ditoy probinsia nga Ilocos Sur!” a part of the message of Governor Jerry Singson during the commemoration of the 81st Araw ng Kagitingan at the Veterans Federation of the Philippines Marker, Provincial Capitol, Vigan City this 12 April 2022 brought by the Philippine Veterans Affairs Office in collaboration with the Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur.

Governor Jerry Singson was represented by SPM Gina Cordero accompanied by ISPPO Provincial Director PCOL Marlo Castillo represented by PLtCol. Louise Benjie Tremor Deputy Provincial Director for Administration led the wreath laying ceremony as a sign of deep respect to the great deeds of our heroes followed by a 21-gun salute performed by the men of ISPPO.

Almost a hundred of Veterans Federation of the Philippines, Ilocos Sur Chapter officials and members participated.

Sangguniang Panlalawigan Members Ronnie Rapanut and Third Ranches, Provincial Administrator Marlon Tagorda, VFP Region 1 President 2LT Ruben Magsi and PVAO Ilocos Sur Vicky Antiporda also took part on the special event.
