The provincial government of Ilocos Sur headed by Governor Jerry Singson officially launched its One Surgical Team in Sinait District Hospital wherein group of surgeons from provincial and other government hospitals conducted major and minor surgical operations such as gallbladder removal, hernia repair, cyst removal, circumcision and many more.

The Governor together with the district hospital heads led the launching of the program wherein in eight major surgical operations, over 30 minor and 50 circumcision operations were successfully done.

This aims to bring free surgical operations closer to the constituents through the district hospitals which served as the catchment areas of patients from far-flung communities.
