At least 2,671 Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur Scholars received their allowances for the First Semester of School year 2002-2023 held at the Provincial Farmers Livelihood Development Center this 13 February 2023.

This is under the umbrella of Ilocos Sur Educational Assistance and Scholarship Program.

It aimed to give assistance to the less fortunate students who wanted to finish their studies.

The distribution was attended by Governor Jerry Singson. Sangguniang Panlalawigan Members Efren Rafanan, Ronnie Rapanut, Benjamin Maggay, Third Ranches and Art Oandasan.
