The Department of Agriculture distributed Fertilizer Discount Voucher System under the National Rice Program to more than 800 rice farmers in Cabugao, Ilocos Sur.

The discount vouchers are for one-time use only and may be claimed at any accredited fertilizer merchants in the preferred area of the farmer-beneficiaries.

The program aimed to provide fertilizer vouchers to farmers in order to bolster their rice production and lessen their expenses.

The distribution was attended by Governor Jerry Singson.
