The Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur and its 32 component Local Government Units were conferred with the 2022 Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) Performance Award on 03 February 2023 at Agora Events Center, Thunderbird Resort, San Fernando City, La Union during the Regional Awarding Ceremonies graced by DILG Sec. Benjamin Abalos Jr.

The following are the LGUs assessed with high functionality rating under the 2022 ADAC Performance Audit and passed the ADAC Awarding Assessment:

Further, five (5) Municipalities garnered a 100% score during the conduct of the ADAC Performance Audit and were awarded at the National level. They also received an incentive cash award of P100,000. These were:

Governor Jerry Singson received the Seal/Award for the Provincial Anti- Drug Abuse Council/PADAC as conferred by SILG Abalos joined by the Regional ADAC Audit Team headed by DILG OIC-RD Agnes De Leon and accompanied by DILG Provincial Director Randy Dela Rosa while Mayors and representatives of City/MADAC Awardees received their respective Seal together with their C/Mlgoos.

The ADAC Performance Awards aims to recognize the LGUs for their exemplary efforts in the performance of their duties in support with the government’s anti-illegal drug campaign.
