Forty-eight uniformed personnel whose houses were devastated by the July 27 earthquake received financial assistance from the PNP Regional Office. The said amount given to the victims were collected from the personal money of the PNP. Governor Jerry Singson praised the camaraderie of the Philippine National Police in times of disasters.
