The Office of Senator Bong Go through the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) under the program on Assistance to Individuals during Crisis Situation (AICS) distributed cash assistance to the 687 victims of 7.0- magnitude earthquake that hit the province last July 27, 2022.

The beneficiaries of the program are the residents of the municipality of San Juan, Magsingal, Sto Domingo and San Ildefonso.

The said families received P5, 000.00 each in aid for their partially damaged houses and with totally damaged houses were given P10, 000.00 each.

The distribution was participated by Governor Jerry Singson, Provincial Administrator Marlon Tagorda, Office of Senator Bong Go representative Red Caparas, DSWD staff, Sto. Domingo Vice Mayor Maribert Tacbas and SBM Benedict De Vera.
