1,500 food packs were distributed last 12 August 2022 to the residents of the 21 LGUs of Ilocos Sur who were affected by the 7.0 magnitude earthquake from the office of Ilocos Norte First District Representative Ferdinand Alexander “Sandro” Marcos III.

Governor Jerry Singson and Provincial Administrator Marlon Flavier Tagorda humbly accepted the goods handed over by Congressional Community Affairs Officer Edwin Carino, former Laoag City Councilor RBee Ablan and Team BBM – Ilocos Sur Ms. Cherry Doromal.

The LGUs benefitted to the said assistance were Caoayan, Vigan City, Narvacan, Sta Maria, Magsingal, San Esteban, Burgos, Nagbukel, Lidlidda, Salcedo, San Emilio, Sta. Cruz Santiago, Candon City, Tagudin, Gregorio Del Pilar, Cabugao, Sinait, Santiago, Sto Domingo and San Juan.
