Senator Christopher “Bong” Go and Senator Robin Padilla showed their utmost compassion to the people of Ilocos Sur by visiting the heritage province today 31 July 2022 after it was hit by an earthquake last 27 July.

“We are in the service of uplifting the lives of Filipinos wherever they may be. That is the main pillar that supports why your national government is right here present on the ground to bring the programs and projects closer to everyone, that’s the reason why we are here with my friend Senator Robin Padilla,” a part of the message of Sen. Bong Go.

Senator Go reiterated the appeal to hospital executives not to refuse patients while reminding the beneficiaries of the financial assistance to spend the amount given to them wisely.

Together with the two Senators were Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) staff who rolled out the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) Program, distributing P10,000.00 each to the 335 beneficiaries of Vigan City.
