The province of Ilocos Sur has emerged as Ranked 5 in the Total Current Operating Expenditures Per Capita with an impressive 5,350 expenditures per capita as recognized in the National Top-Performing Provinces, Cities, and Municipalities in Strengthening Local Government Finance for Fiscal Years 2022 and 2023.

This achievement is highlighted in the Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF) Memorandum Circular No. 017.2024.

Governor Jerry Singson represented by Atty. Jannah Singson and Provincial Treasurer Ronnette Victa received the award during the Bureau of Local Government Finance 37th Anniversary Stakeholders’ Recognition this 9 October 2024 at the Seda Manila Bay, Abueva Avenue corner Aseana Avenue, Aseana City, Parañaque.
