The Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur hosted the 2nd Quarter Regular Economic Development Sectoral Committee Meeting at the Provincial Farmers Livelihood Development Center this 5 June 2024.

Regional Directors and representatives of government agencies under the umbrella of the Regional Development Council namely: Department of Trade and Industry, Department of Agriculture, Department of Science and Technology, and Department of Labor and Employment participated in the meeting.

The council’s agenda centered on the presentation and approval of the different plans in connection with the economic development of Region 1 particularly the Provincial Commodity Investment Plan, Sustainable Development Goal Catch-up Plan, PRISTINE Project Proposal, and the Philippine Rural Development Plan.
