The Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur through the leadership of Honorable Governor Jerry Singson distributed 20 food packs and drinking waters to the families currently situated at Bantay Evacuation Center.

Thirty-six residents or a total of ten families living along the vicinity of Bantay Bell Tower voluntarily evacuated after the 6.4 earthquake struck because of their fear that the bell tower will collapse.

Aside from the relief operation, PSWD Office headed by Rodrigo S. Llameg facilitated stress debriefing to the families to ease the traumatic event they experienced.

Last 26 October 2022 an immediate assistance was also provided including 18 food packs, drinking waters, sleeping and hygiene kits as augmentation assistance from the PGIS.
